Good-bye Mr. Pick
Jan. 18th, 2012 12:12 pmMy beloved 5th grade teacher, who loved geology and singing, passed away earlier this month. With all the stuff going on with Dad, Mom missed the chance to go to Mr. Pick's memorial service. By virtue of geography, I missed it as well.

It was a bit like having a mix of Mr. Rodgers and Mr. Ray from Finding Nemo as a teacher. He loved to be alive and share nature with us. That trip to Lassen was one of the best field trips ever, even if it did snow.
