Not sure if things are fixed. At least cross-posting is a known issue.

Cross-posting seems to be fixed. Should have reported the issue, but it looks like enough folks did to get the message across.

Now for some fun to relax me. Filoli is having its fall festival. Face painting, pumpkin patches, etc. I want to go, but I can't find my membership card. Hopefully it turns up before 10AM tomorrow.

Tonight thinking of taking the boys and their friends to Hotel Transylvania. It is one way to keep them out of the house while Jim does some much needed resting. Today was the first day he got up to be at work at 6AM instead of just working from home. He will need serious rest.

James is walking around. He walked so much later than his brothers I was worried, but James is just James. He does things in his time. He really mastered crawling so much better than Jake or Sean I can see why the change was hard. He has a system that works brilliantly.

Sean survived being dragged to cub scouts with Dad yet again. Jakob is so much of his social security blankie that Sean hates going to events without him. Jakob makes friends easily and Sean moves in to close the deal by loudly pronouncing the next activity in which they shall all engage. Without Jake, Sean is far quieter and a bit lost. This will be good for him. I just have to keep convincing him of that. Shouting drill sergeant-like that he would go, he would not sit on his butt watching the computer and he would learn the names of 3 kids at cub scouts was (in hindsight) probably not the best approach. He is however me in a cub scout uniform, so he glared and grimly stalked towards his doom. And by doom I mean the park where cub scouts meets.

Jakob took the evening at home with me and James in stride and watched a bit of Numbers with me. He also designed his own superhero costume on paper while wearing the cape Bridget made him. He adds so much color and fun to my life that I feel a bit sad. I'm always reining him in. I decided that we'd head out for a walk and he insisted on his bike. Rather than say no (I just said NO CAPES) I let him take the bike. So there I was, jogging with a stroller to keep up with Jakob and his bicycle. And I do mean jogging. Fortunately we did about a mile and a half and then stopped. Before I looked totally ridiculous jogging in my flats. (I didn't know we'd be jogging.)
