xylieHe did it, he did it! Jakob rode his new bike off into the sunset. No training wheels, no complaining, no crashing into neighbors cars. Years ago he was so frustrated by the bike that he just gave up and decided to stick to horses and scooters. But years of scooters and horses have given him a keen sense of balance.
So at the ripe age of 11, he climbed on his much-belated birthday bike, got a swift push or two from Dad and was off like a shot. W00t!
There is nothing like watching someone struggle for so long finally do something so effortlessly.
Now if only Jim would repair Jake's old abandoned bike for Sean. Sean's fit to be tied that Jakob is riding about the neighborhood without him. Seriously is anyone who knows both gentlemen surprised? Please explain it to their father.
