xylieMom's visit has been deferred a bit until the rains clear out on Monday. This means one less weekend with someone to help out, but on the upside, Mom won't have to risk 101 being shut down by rock slides.
Both Jakob and Sean were convinced they would be blown far away from school into a magical kingdom this morning. Their imagination is great, except when it slows us down on a blustery day to the bus stop. James was more simply amused by the fact that leaves were blowing sideways in the wind.
Tried talking the job situation out with Jim and ran into the fact that he was severely behind on reviewing specs. It reminded me a bit of being in college, only he takes deadlines more seriously now. I guess he has to, things fall out of the sky literally if he doesn't pay attention.
All in all I feel like crap and I'll probably head home to rest in a bit and then get back online tonight. Much better than attempting to blast through it all while feeling not-quite-there.
