xylieThe dryer has progressed steadily downhill. First it didn't dry the clothes at all, then we replaced the fuse. Now the dryer doesn't sense when clothes are dry. You have to use tumble dry and folks forget. Leaving me with melted bras.
Yes, I always take the bras out to air dry, thanks for asking. Others in the family and our sitter take a more casual approach to laundry and well, melted stuff happens. Our old bedspread from Redondo? Now very shiny.
My thought was to cruise the appliances after Christmas and see what I could get in the non-evil variety for a clearance price. Only to come home and find that Mom and Dad had gone out and bought me a new washer and dryer. Seriously. Large capacity, warranty, etc. Um, wow? I would have settled for second dryer repair as a Christmas gift. Wheee. Dryer that doesn't melt things!
