xylieGot to meet up with Jennie at the Platfora booth, which was nice. It's fun to have old colleagues in a new industry. On the downside her manager was trying to poach in our waters in terms of writers. I think this will be a growing concern as Big Data develops. There are writers strong in DB, but Big Data is both huge and highly flexible. A lot of the structure that made stars in the industry may lionize the same folks for not being open to the Agile world.
On that note, I am still working on how to make Agile work. The greatest success was with a writer who was close to her team. Not physically, as she was in North Carolina, but just in terms of contact.
